After installation of this electrical kit, the car needs to be coded for trailer use.
If available you can turn off parking assistance of your CITROËN C8 with a button on your dashboard. High-quality, vehicle-specific plug connectors, colour coding, custom cable lengths and a detailed C8 C8 installation manual are all part of this wiring kit. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your CITROËN C8. It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin kit.
To automatically switch off the rear fog lamp(s) of your CITROËN C8 when a trailer or bicycle carrier is installed, you can use this accessory: 122653. This your vehicle is equipped with two rear fog lamps, accessory 122653 is required 2 times. This accessory is required because in some countries the use of a bicycle carrier is not permitted if automatic switching off of the rear fog lamp(s) is not supported.
It is possible to extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus (to power electric items in the trailer) or pin 9 to steady plus and pin 10 to charge (e.g. a separate battery in the trailer). By adding the extension set 107650 you can combine charging and steady plus.
The electrical set is suitable from ORGA no. 10585 onwards. You can find the number on an adhesive label and/or sign on the A or B pillar of your CITROËN C8.
