This 13 pin electric wiring kit from TowTec is made specifically for your PEUGEOT 407 SW . This 13-pin electrical kit connects to the existing data bus system in your PEUGEOT 407 SW . Faulty trailer lights will be indicated by the car's own system. After installation of this electrical kit, the car needs to be coded for trailer use.

If possible you can turn off parking assistance of your PEUGEOT 407 SW with a push on a dashboard button. High-quality, vehicle-specific plug connectors, colour coding, custom cable lengths and a detailed 407 SW 407 SW installation manual are all part of this wiring kit. No need to drill into the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet already exists on your PEUGEOT 407 SW . It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin electrical kit.

To automatically turn off the rear fog lamp(s) of your PEUGEOT 407 SW, accessory 122653 can be used as the use of a bicycle carrier is not permitted in some countries if automatic switching off of the rear fog lamp(s) is not supported. If your vehicle is equipped with two rear fog lamps, the accessory 122653 must be installed 2 times.

It is possible to extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus (to power electric items in the trailer) or pin 9 to steady plus and pin 10 to charge (e.g. a separate battery in the trailer). By adding the extension set 107650 you can combine charging and steady plus.
