This 13 pin TowTec wiring kit is made specifically for your PEUGEOT 308 I. The operation of this 13-pin electrical kit is very simple: It is detected by the data bus system in your PEUGEOT 308 I and is ready for operation after the vehicle has been coded for trailer operation. From now on, the electrical kit will inform you via the car's own system if the trailer lights are faulty.

You could even turn off the parking assistance of your PEUGEOT 308 I with a push on a dashboard button. High-quality, vehicle-specific plug connectors, colour coding, custom cable lengths and a detailed 308 I 308 I installation manual are all part of this wiring kit. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your PEUGEOT 308 I. It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin wiring kit.

To automatically switch off the rear fog lamp(s) of your PEUGEOT 308 I when a trailer or bicycle carrier is installed, you can use this accessory: 122653. This your vehicle is equipped with two rear fog lamps, accessory 122653 is required 2 times. This accessory is required because in some countries the use of a bicycle carrier is not permitted if automatic switching off of the rear fog lamp(s) is not supported.

It is possible to extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus (to power electric items in the trailer) or pin 9 to steady plus and pin 10 to charge (e.g. a separate battery in the trailer) by adding the extension set 107650. A combinet retrofit solution for steady plus and charge 139243 is available separately.

The ORGA number of your PEUGEOT 308 I must not exceed the number 11680, otherwise the electrical set will not be suitable. You can find the ORGA number of your vehicle on a sign or adhesive label on the A or B pillar.
