This 13 pin TowTec wiring kit is made specifically for your CITROËN C5 III. After the 13-pin electrical kit is integrated in the data bus system of your CITROËN C5 III, it reliably signals faulty trailer lights through the car's own system. The vehicle must be configured for trailer operation after the electrical kit has been installed.

You could even turn off the parking assistance of your CITROËN C5 III with a push on a dashboard button. Included in this kit: high-quality, vehicle-specific colour-coded plug connectors, custom cable lengths and a detailed CITROËN C5 III installation manual. No drilling in the rear panel of the vehicle. A grommet is already present on your CITROËN C5 III. It is used by this vehicle-specific 13 pin wiring kit.

To automatically switch off the rear fog lamp(s) of your CITROËN C5 III when a trailer or bicycle carrier is installed, you can use this accessory: 122653. This your vehicle is equipped with two rear fog lamps, accessory 122653 is required 2 times. This accessory is required because in some countries the use of a bicycle carrier is not permitted if automatic switching off of the rear fog lamp(s) is not supported.

Extend pin 9 of the trailer socket to steady plus to power electric items in the trailer with the 107650 with steady-plus function. Or you can use pin 9 for steady plus and pin 10 to charge a second battery in the trailer. A combinet retrofit solution for steady plus and charge 139243 is available separately.
